Abstrakt: The article discusses the claims of Ngai Tahu to the government of New Zealand on their settlement agreement and the abolition of The Waitangi Tribunal. Ngai Tahu chairman Charlie Crofts has tried to reconsider the petition but failed due to failure to submit the supporting documentary evidence. The tribunal recommends The Treaty of Waitangi Act 1988, which give them the rights on mineral, forestry, power stations, and conservation estates.
