Abstrakt: The article looks into declassified interrogation reports of the Viet Cong survivors of the 1968 Tet attack on the U.S. Embassy. It states that the attack on the embassy was considered symbolic as it was the first Vietnam battle many understood, and discouraged several people to continue the war. It is the authors view that the assault which was poorly executed by sappers was not a suicide mission. Viet Cong survivors include captain Ngo Van Giang, Nguyen Van Sau, and Dang Van Son.
