An interview with cinematographer Allen Daviau is presented. When asked about cinematographer Vittorio Storaro, Daviau recalls seeing the film "II Conformista" and relates that John Bailey described it that it contains impressions of every important film in the history of motion pictures. Daviau notes that in terms of cinematography, Storaro looks for the answer print, the dupes, and the checkprints from the dupe negatives. Daviau said he met Storaro at a party at Technicolor and admires his enthusiasm for his craft. |
