| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the efforts of stream-restoration practitioners in riparian forest rehabilitation in the U.S. It notes their initiative to plant millions of trees, shrubs and dormant plant materials along the nation's waterways. It states that the quality and quantity of riparian areas influence ecological health, water quality and flood intensity. It adds that the efforts of practitioners would reduce the need for intensive river management, and permaculture practices need. |
