Abstrakt: The article discusses social networking in the U.S. In March 2010, Facebook was the most visited website in the country, according to news reports. A study conducted in July 2009 by Anderson Analytics showed usage of a social networking website by 110 million Americans. Nine out of 10 nonlife insurers have at least one Twitter account. Social networks can drive business value, allowing the introduction of insurance products, new payment methods, and on-demand needs of customers.
