The article reports that General Motors Corp. (GM) in the U.S. files for bankruptcy, whereas GM launched an advertising campaign in India to build the brand. GM filed for bankruptcy on June 1, 2009 as it was affected by the global financial meltdown during 2008-2009. Whereas a campaign was launched by GM in India in a bid to protect GM from the likely ramifications resulting from the parent company opting for bankruptcy petition. |
