The article presents a case study of Satyam Computer Services Ltd and the corporate governance issues related to the takeover of two Matsya real estate companies owned by Ramalinga Raju's relatives. The revolt of the investors and a British mobile solutions company, Upaid Systems and the relevation of accounting fraud led to the abolition of its Board of Directors. It discusses how Tech Mahindra Ltd won the bidding process of Satyam and its effect on Tech Mahindra and the employees of Satyam. |
