Abstrakt: The article discusses the case of a 50-year-old woman who developed acute zonal occult outer retinopathy. She was subjected to an imaging technique to survey the photoreceptor damage through the use of Cirrus spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) en face visualization. Results of the Goldman visual field examination revealed a unilateral C-shaped scotoma on the left optic nerve. Her condition did not change at 5 months follow-up.
