The author reflects on several ways on how special birthdays were celebrated in different places. He mentions that his way of commemorating his 35th birthday was through climbing the second tallest and prettiest peak in Green Mountains of Vermont called Camel's Hump. He also notes several founders in religion which were given special importance including Christmas as the birthday of Jesus, Guru Nanak Jayanthi for the founder of Sikhism and Mahavir Jain Jayanthi for the founder of Jain religion. |
