This article offers information on the Women's Only Swim Night programme at the H2O Xtream Aquatic Centre in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. The programme is intended to encourage women to participate in aquatic programme and leisure. The key elements of the evening are fun, fitness and learning. Particular focus is given to the programme's target marketing strategy. From October-December 2009, 75 women attended the opening night, while an average of 114 women attended the programme each week during the summer and autumn months of 2010. |
