| Abstrakt: | The article offers information on architect Maurice Fatio. Fatio, a native of Switzerland, unlike other architects tried new unconventional things. He created, houses of many styles from Italian Romanesque, Normandy and Art Deco to Regency. Fatio won a gold medal for his effort at the Paris Exposition in the year 1937 for his designs. The Reef, an oceanfront mansion in Palm Beach created by Patio, still remains the best example of modernism in the U.S. |
