Abstrakt: The article discusses a study which examines the feasibility of reusing non-oviposited female silk moths to enhance egg laying and recovery. These moths are not mated on the first day but on reuse they laid eggs within 24 hours after mating, with 92 percent of them fertilized. The findings of the study prove that the 5-30 percent of non-oviposited moths may be reused to increase the production of silkworm seed.
