The article investigates the effect of inhibiting small molecule Gβγ on heart failure (HF). According to the authors, daily injections of the small molecule inhibitors like M119 and its analog gallein resulted in normalizing cardiac morphology and in preventing HF. Daily injection for 28 days on calsequestrin cardiac transgenic mice stopped the progression of preexisting HF and normalized the cardiac expression of HF marker genes. |
