Abstrakt: The article presents the response of a North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman on April 14, 2009 to the United Nations Security Council's "Presidential Statement" denouncing North Korea's long-range rocket launch on April 5th as a hostile act that defied repeated warnings from the Council. The statement says that North Korea will continue with its nuclear and missile testing program, quit the Six-Party Talks process on denuclearization, restart its atomic weapons program, and strengthen its national defense with nuclear energy plants.
