The article highlights how Pioneer Plastics, an injection molding and moldmaking company in Eagan, Minnesota, maximized the performance of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software from Epicor. Under an agreement with Epicor, Pioneer Plastics upgrades its Vista system to Vantage 8.03. With the proper implementation of the software, the company benefited from reduced inventory, depletion of safety stock, improvement in efficiencies and cast flow. Metrics defining the firm's profitability are material cost, processing time, labor and turnaround time. |
