Abstrakt:	The article revisits the life and career of California-based African American blues singer and guitarist Sonny Rhodes years after he was made the cover of this periodical's issues in 1978 and 1992. Rhodes was a popular blues musician in Oakland from 1967 to 1987. He released "I'm Back Again" in Italy in 2008. Rhodes and his band performed at Chicago Blues Festival in June 2010. Currently, Rhodes is waiting for a dual hip replacement surgery.
