The article offers tips on how to select sunscreen products that contain low or non-toxic ingredients for skin care products. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) discouraged companies from luring consumer with SPF 50 or 100 which is a false sense of sun protection factor (SPF) sunscreen which is applicable to UVB rays. In addition, FDA approved sunscreen filters such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as well as Mexoryl to defend against ultra-violet light. |
