| Abstrakt: |
The article focuses on the health and economic consequences associated with physical inactivity which is a major public health problem especially in female African-American adolescents as of July 2010. It notes that the risk factors of physical inactivity include chronic diseases like heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and obesity. Family focused, community oriented and church-based strategies that can be executed to increase physical activity in female are also discussed. |
