| Abstrakt: | An essay is presented regarding the selection process of leaders in the U.S. Marine Corps. The author suggests that the selection process should be based on strenuous physical tasks, leadership skills, and academic knowledge. He proposes that the elimination of current rank, adoption of a regimental system, and a new view toward selection for promotion must be examined in order to change the selection process. |
