Abstrakt: The article discusses a study on the development and evaluation of inactivated pentavalent adjuvanted vaccine for Bluetongue Virus (BTV). Results showed that inactivated BTV did not produce any cytopathic effect in three consecutive passages following inactivation by formaldehyde-binary ethylene imine. Findings reveal the absence of detectable ribonucleic acid (RNA) in agarose gel electrophoresis and the homogeneity of the inactivated vaccine with low viscosity. The study confirms that the vaccine is sterile, stable, safe and potent.
