| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the empirical relationship between economic growth and income inequality among 69 developing countries. It shows that both economic growth and income distribution matter for significant reduction in poverty. The article also explores the policy implications of the finding, among them, a pro-poor growth strategy must focus on growth and income redistribution, credit market imperfection is crucial in growth inequality relationship and level of output per capita is directly related to the level of physical and human capital investment. |
