| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a case study of monozygotic twins of 12 years 5 months with variable expression of hypodontia. It is stated that Deoxyribo Nucleic Acid (DNA) Fingerprinting was done to establish monozygosity. It informs that genetic coding is not the only controlling factor in tooth agenesis. It is concluded that DNA Fingerprinting should be considered as the benchmark for determination of monozygosity. |
