The Zootecno - Zootechnic Processes Control System is software developed, in Belem, Para State, Brazil, public-private project between Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation - Embrapa Eastern Amazon and Agrotecno LTDA, for monitoring and management of the buffalo meat and involves the control of information of the productive system and the alimentary, reproductive and sanitary management of the cattle systems. The system uses the simple Web platform, what minimizes the complexity and maximizes its acceptance, with Java language, for the lesser cost and portability. The system has functionalities and adequacy of the country properties to the SISBOV (Brazilian System of Identification and Certification of Origin Bovine and Bubaline), a control service and traceability of the productive chain of bovines and buffaloes, created for the Ministry of Agriculture, Cattle and Supplying - MAPA, to characterize the origin, sanitary aspects, production and productivity of the bubaline cattle for meat production.
