Abstrakt: The article discusses a study which shows that the use of synchrotron white radiation in the context of Energy Dispersive X-ray diffraction can be employed as an effective characterization tool for three-dimensional X-ray phase mapping and analysis of nanostructured coatings. It analyzes diphasic nanostructured titanium dioxide coatings on titanium. Observations on variations in phase composition and elasto-plastic response within the framework of structure-processing-property relations are presented.
