Abstrakt: The article focuses on the use of a two-dimensional (2D) numerical wave tank (NWT) in the creation of the Bragg reflection of highly nonlinear waves, which is used to assess wave elevations variation and their Fourier amplitudes. The Boundary Element Method was utilized by the author on the development of the 2D fully nonlinear NWT, which was combined with the Eulerian-Lagrangian time marching scheme. The study found that wave energy that transmits over the ripples does not have an effect on the Bragg reflection caused by bottom topography.
