Abstrakt: The article discusses a study that probed the numerical simulations of the falling behavior of a seated passenger on a high-speed ship at accidental collision. The study used a three dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model of a human body with limited degrees of freedom to achieve practical accuracy within an allowed calculation time. It concluded that a passenger's falling behavior simulation can be explained rationally.
