Abstrakt:	The article presents the author's insights on the efforts of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) to address the needs of disabled persons. The author announces that the National Summit on Disability will be held on July 26-27, 2010 in Washington D.C., to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The author also mentions that he will represent the NFPA at the National Council on Disability (NCD) to address topics including employment and education.
