The article presents the response of several U.S. Air Force airmen to an online survey conducted by the periodical on whether married airmen have better lives that single ones. First Class Nicholas Warden said that the service has unwritten rule of welcoming spouses on base which could weigh on promotions. Senior airman Lawrence Turgeon described the housing policy of the service as ridiculous because it gives preference to married airmen despite of their age or rank. Technical Sergeant Enrique Soto added that a family is not limited to a wife and kids. |
