Abstrakt: The article focuses on the benefits of nature on children's physical, mental, social and emotional health. A study featured in the April 2004 issue of "Psychology Today" found that symptoms of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) were reduced with increased time in nature compared to indoor playgrounds. The National Wildlife Federation adds that children who regularly play outdoor are more creative, have stronger immune systems, have lower stress levels and develop respect for themselves, others and the environment.
