| Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study on the highly pathogenic porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) virus in China. It notes the large-scale outbreak of PRRS in the country in 2006, and mentions the formation of a research for the virus to fully understand its nature. The study found out that the pathogenic is similar to hemoglobin-1 (HB-1) and it has a unique molecular hallmark on its viral isolates with the continuous deletion of 30 amino acids in nonstructural protein two (Nsp2). |
