A chapter of the book "Birmingham: Public Sculpture Trails" is presented. It discusses Trail 1, covering Victoria and Chamberlain Squares, which begins with the sculpture of Dhruva Mistry entitled "River, Guardians, Youth and Object (Variations)." Other sculptures along the trail include "Iron: Man" by Antony Gormley, "Chamberlain Memorial Fountain" by John Chamberlain, and "Allegory of Birmingham Rewarding the Arts" by Francis Williamson. A description of some of the sculptures is also presented. |
