Abstrakt: The article discusses how lightning strike can be prevented while sailing. A recent study in New Mexico details that lightning rods needs to be located at the highest point of the boat connected with metal current-carrying conductors. For those prone to lightning strikes, it is a good idea to install and maintain a system to control the vast electrical charges that can strike a boat during lightning storms.
