Chapter 1 of the book "The Thrill of It All: The Story of Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music" is presented. It highlights the childhood, family and school life of songwriter and rock/pop musician Bryan Ferry from 1945 to 1968. Ferry was born on September 26, 1945 in Washington, England. His father was Frederick Charles Ferry and his mother was Mary Ann Ferry. In 1964, Perry took a degree at the Department of Fine Arts at Newcastle University. He started performing with his band, the Gas Board, while at the university. |
