The article focuses on how the golf club The Briar Club in Houston, Texas manages to recover after the Hurricane Ike in 2008 and its social services for its member in the leadership of its general manager Richard Lareau. It discusses the preparation that club made before the Hurricane which includes shutting down all computers and moving it to safer place, shutting down all mechanic and ensuring weak furniture. It mentions that the club works hard to keep its high service levels to its members. |
