| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the study of the bimoraic word minimality condition of the Chitonga language through the optimality theory (OT) analysis. The authors explain that the level of analysis for minimal word in Chitonga must be in the mora and not in the syllables. It mentions that the findings of the study had satisfied the requirement of Foot Binarity principle, in which the feet should be binary at some level of analysis. |
