An interview with Robert A. Freitas Jr. and Ralph C. Merkle, senior research fellows at the Institute for Molecular Manufacturing in California, is presented. Freitas says that his interest in cryonics and life extension started at the age of 15. Merkle emphasizes that their general approach in developing molecular nanotechnology is summarized at the Nanofactory Collaboration website. Freitas stresses the benefits associated with molecular manufacturing. |
