The article features the new titanium mini-screw and presents several of its clinical applications. It is a self-tapping miniscrew in 7-millimeter (mm), 9mm and 11mm lengths, small enough to prevent soft-tissue irritation. Spider Screws are designed to support different types of orthodontic mechanics, particularly in cases with incomplete arches. The simplicity in its application and its size permit its use in patients with intact dentitions. |
