The article discusses a report from the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) mentoring which is seen as a recruitment and retention challenge in dentistry In the U.S. It states that mentoring is one of the key factors considered by faculty in their decision in choosing a career in academic dentistry. It further discusses the meaning and the benefits of mentoring as well as its potential pitfalls. |
