Dealing with Japan’s activities in Manchu, the place of conflicts of economic profits among the powers, this article tries to analyze causes leading to the American-Japanese contractions in 1905-30. A large-scale penetration of Japan into Manchu was against their commitments with American aiming to exchange for the supports of this Government in the resistance war against Russia in 1904-30. The conflicts became more and more heated between American and Japan around Manchurian problems (as a part belonged to Chinese territory -- a main target in dividing markets in the Far East) and correction of the diplomatic policies of the Takana militaristic government gave the signal that Japan "was necessary to declare war with America on oneday". Then a new stage began up in American-Japanese relations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
