| Abstrakt: | An interview with pianist Richard Dowling is presented. When asked regarding what he enjoyed most in his first appearance in the West Coast Ragtime Festival, he refers mainly to the musical presentations, movies, and seminars. Dowling believes that there is no connection between musical performance and public speaking, where he was seen good in both skills in his concerts. He comments that transcribing other music pieces gives him a deeper insight by all means. |
