The article deals with the two major street enhancement projects made by the architectural firm Mithun in the city of Seattle in Washington. The projects are the Taylor 28 mixed-used development at the Taylor Avenue North in the lower Queen Anne neighborhood and another on the Pine Street. Mithun's T. Frick McNamara claimed that their greatest challenge was how to find a place for the trees and rain gardens. The project on Pine Street, however, was claimed to have failed to meet expectations. |
