The article discusses research on ovine zygomycosis that affect the sheep in Mato Grosso State, Brazil. It references a study by Luciano Nakazato and colleagues, published in the 2010 issue of the "Journal of the Veterinary Diagnostic Investigation." The researchers assessed nasopharyngeal zygomycosis and rhinofacial zygomycosis in relation to the development of Conidobolus spp. They found that a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test should be performed to determine the factors that cause ovine zygomycosis. |
