The article discusses the Marine Education Workshop hosted by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Marine Fisheries Service (NOAA Fisheries) and Washington Sea Grant (WSG). The workshop aimed to have teachers work together as NOAA education group, to promote use and understanding of Ocean Literacy Essential Principles, and to create a model workshop that can be repeated. The article also lists several NOAA Fisheries collaborative outreach and educational programs. |
