| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses a gravity segregation model for steady-state gas/water injection in homogeneous reservoirs for an enhanced oil recovery (EOR) using Newtonian fluids and simulation methods. The model was applied in three cases such as coinjection of gas and water over a portion of formation interval, and injection of water and gas in separate zones. It shows that injectivity significantly rises for water injection above gas, and injected water fraction is above optimum for oil recovery. |
