The article presents several accounts of authors about their writing career. Darlene Oxenham shared that some of the books she would read before was the "Famous Five" and "Secret Seven" and her reading interest began during her school years. Pat Dudgeon, who studied psychology, became the head of the Center for Aboriginal Studies and serves as the current Chair of the Australian Indigenous Psychologist's Association. Laura Dudgeon said that her favorite book was "Where's Wally?" and it was her parents who encouraged her imagination. |
