Abstrakt: |
The article presents a study that determines if rollover protection structures (ROPS) social marketing campaign can lead to immediate financial savings to avoid injuries and fatalities of U.S. farmers. It mentions that the study used a decision-tree analysis to calculate the cost injuries and fatalities of 524 farmers. Results indicate that cost of injuries is based on direct and indirect costs including medical expenses, fees, and property damage and ROPS is a cost-effective approach for this. |
