The article reports on the collaboration of the government and nonprofit organizations to continue implementing the electronic health records (EHR) system in the health information management (HIM) in the U.S. President Barack Obama has approved the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), a stimulus bill which protects the privacy and security provisions of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and other medical policies. Moreover, the author explained that approach would give long-standing commitment of the medical personnel to do their duties and responsibilities. |
