Abstrakt: The article reports on the success of new hotel brands despite economic uncertainty and difficulties in construction capital. Factors driving the creation and expansion of new hotel brands are access to reservations and marketing systems of their parent companies, attractiveness to business and leisure travelers, and market penetration. Also pointed out are the popularity of upscale and upper-upscale hotel segments among hotel developers as well as the aim of newer hotel brands to fit within their locations in terms of interior and exterior design.
