The article focuses on the concept of identity as well as its role in the era of postmodern politics and neoliberal globalization. It discusses the factors which make the question of identity a problem of social life. It also cites various concepts of identity including the Marxist and constructivist understanding. It compares the modernist understanding and the postmodern subject of identity. Moreover, it cites the political implications of the postmodern social constructivism and identity. |
