| Abstrakt: |
The article discusses the AquaFit4Use project of the European Commission which aims to reduce the consumption of high quality water and mitigate impacts of water treatments and effluent discharges. It emphasizes the need for industries to know what water quality they need, integrate all water-related aspects and the necessity to learn from other industrial sectors. The project also includes the development of new water treatment technologies such as Denutritor technology, filtration assisted crystallization technology and Zerovalent iron. |
